Information about rebrand

On June 1st 2026, James Auth will undergo a huge rebrand. We will be completly changing the branding to match our new identity: Effortless. Now we are starting to allow third party app developers to add their service to James Auth, we need to change to reflect it’s not just James Theakston’s apps.

By 2027, all platforms must have changed all buttons to reflect the rebrand.

To help direct users to the platform and avoid confusion, consider changing all Authenticate with James Auth buttons to Authenticate with Effortless before the deadline.

If your platform has not changed it’s branding, you will be sent an email from the Effortless team and if you still don’t change the buttons your service will be removed from the platform. By 2027, you must also use the official buttons, which helps users a lot; they only need to lookout for one button across all their platforms instead of individualy reading all the signup/login options.
